My husband and I purchased this for our living room to add a good background noise and to add some art to the room...it did both. The installation was a little tricky but we soon figured it out and had it on our wall. Overall it is a beautiful fountain, the only complaint is the stones are different from what is pictured so if that is a huge issue for your I would recommend ordering the stone selection (we didn't, but I wish we did on our fountain purchase).
